- Find the player ID of the player you want to admin. These are in the common Steam64ID format and can be found by pressing F2 in-game for a list of players and their IDs. Steam IDs can also be looked up via websites such as https://steamid.io/
- Add that number to the
adminlist.txtfile located in the "Configuration Files" section of your game panel. If you have multiple admins add the IDs one per line. - Restart the server for the change to take effect.
- Open up the properties window in your Steam library. This can easily be done by right-clicking on the game and then selecting Properties from the list that pops up.
Once in the Properties window, ensure you’re on the General tab and then look for Launch Options at the bottom of the section. You should see a blank line (or you might already have some other launch options in there).
Go ahead and type “-console” into that box, being sure to remove the quotations. Once that is done, close out the Properties window and launch the game again.
Now you'll be able to use commands in-game. To bring up the in-game console, press the F5 key on your keyboard. Enter devcommands to activate cheats.
